Using Wildcards to Search

Wildcards

A wildcard can be used to leave out a letter in the middle of a word. A question mark (?) is used. The computer will fill in letters to make new words.

 A search for:

 might give you:

cat   
cot
cut    

 

A search for:

might give you:

cart
cast
cent
chat
coat
colt
