What is a My Stuff Account?

On OSLIS, you can create a My Stuff account to save and share information related to current research projects.  This is totally optional.  If you register, you decide what user name and password to use, but you must also remember them.  The user name and password for this are different than those used to access Gale.

Examples of ways to use My Stuff

If you find pictures of frogs on the Internet for your report, create a page in your My Stuff folder to save them.  You can even include the URL and the date you accessed them to make creating your Works Cited page easier later.

Working on a project with classmates?  As long as they have My Stuff accounts, you can share your work with them.  You can also give them editing rights so they can update your page to include information they found.

It's time for the school day to end, but you are right in the middle of taking notes and don't have a flash drive with you.  Save the notes in your My Stuff account, go home, log into My Stuff, and pick up where you left off earlier.
