I don’t normally post about webinars on OSLIST, but since there are two opportunities to learn about the new-to-us Gale databases, I am posting this information here.

There are many opportunities to learn via webinar this month. Don’t have a lot of time? Maybe scan the titles for something that jumps out at you. 

Browse the WebJunction list, and scroll to the bottom of the page for session descriptions. [Note: The webinar offerings change monthly.]

Also, check the Gale or LearningExpress Library calendars for webinars -- live or recorded. For the latter, search for "learningexpress” or “job” w/o quotes. 

As a heads up, this month there will be two Gale webinars specifically for Oregon library staff and classroom teachers. They will be about Books & Authors and LitFinder, our new databases. The dates are January 16^th at 3 pm Pacific and January 29^th at 10 am Pacific. Click on the link for the date you are interested in to register.
