Hi,
Kurt, our Gale trainer, will offer one last “Welcome to Gale” webinar on Monday, October 19th from 3:30 to 4:30. Anyone is welcome to join the session.
This one hour overview of the 18 databases in the statewide package is different from the on-site trainings which are much more in-depth and will last for 2 to 3 hours.
·Registration: No need to register. (You do have to register for on-site trainings.)
·Equipment: You need a computer with an Internet connection and a phone.
·Instructions: View or download a PDF with instructions here: http://www.galesupport.com/oregon/webinar.pdf. Be sure to read it before joining a session as it provides some good tips for making sure your computer is webinar-ready.
·Identify Your Library: When logging in to the webinar, please use the space marked Company to identify your library.
The Gale implementation site and the State Library’s webpage both reference the webinar.

Also, the afternoon on-site Gale training session in Tualatin is full. Kurt has no room in his schedule to add another session right now. You are welcome to attend any on-site training session, so maybe the morning Tualatin one or the November Salem dates will work for you. Kurt knows that his audience will likely be mixed (represent a variety of libraries), and he will answer all questions.
Thanks,
Jen
