OSLIS is Up Again

January 12, 2010

Hi Everyone,

When I got to work this morning, the OSLIS problem had been officially reported, and people were working on solving it.

Darci Hanning, my co-worker who is the Technology Consultant in Library Development at the State Library, just got OSLIS back online.  I did some testing in the elementary and secondary versions and was able to access/use the three major resources – lessons in the Learn to Research section, Gale databases on the Find Information page, and APA & MLA Citation Maker templates in the Cite My Sources section.

A few people who reported issues were very specific – sent screenshots of error messages, explained where they were on the site, etc.  That type of information is very useful when trying to diagnose and solve a tech problem.

Please let me know if you have problems with OSLIS today, and thanks to Darci for the quick response time in getting the site back online.

Thanks,
Jen
