National Geographic Kids => Webinar Friday at 8am + MARC Records

Well, I think everyone is back to school now. I believe folks in Jordan Valley started school in mid-August, and folks in the Willamette Valley started after Labor Day. Welcome back, everyone!

Just a friendly reminder that there will be a webinar to learn how to use National Geographic Kids this Friday at 8:30 am Pacific. As time permits, the trainer will review Kids InfoBits, too, since that interface was updated in the spring. To register, follow the link in the August 20th announcement.

Can’t make it? The repeat webinar will be on the 29th at 3:30 pm Pacific. Plus, a session will be recorded and made available on the Gale support site for Oregon library staff.

Please invite K-8 teachers!

Also, if you would like MARC records for the 200+ eBooks that are in National Geographic Kids,

  • go to the Gale support site for Oregon library staff,
  • click on “click here” in the sentence next to the OSLIS logo, and
  • follow the NGK directions. (If you need help, contact the person listed at the bottom of the directions.)
