Gale Webinar for Oregon School Library Staff => Tips Inspired by Fake News

Hi Folks,

Stacey Knibloe, a Gale trainer, is hosting a free webinar specifically for school library staff in Oregon. It will be on Wednesday, November 15th from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.

With such a huge interest in fake news, this session will focus on how to determine which sources feed into each database, how to find content from specific publications, how to set up journal or search alerts to receive specific content via email or RSS feed, and how to take advantage of the bookmark feature. If there's time, Stacey will also explain a bit about the Chrome extension for Opposing Viewpoints, which will be released soon.

The webinar will be on GoToMeeting, and once you log in, you will see a phone number. Call that number for the audio portion of the webinar. Stacey will encourage participants to ask lots of questions.

Hope you can join us for “Looking for Authoritative and Credible Resources? Harness the Power of Your OSLIS Statewide Gale Resources.” If not, register anyway, and you will be notified when the recording is available.

Thanks,
Jen
