Gale (& Other) Webinars & Geolocation on OSLIS

September 4, 2019

Hi Folks,

Gale geolocation links on OSLIS are currently working. However, I am leaving an updated note with the alternate access point on the Find Information pages until Gale geolocation links have been stable for at least two weeks. The note is intentionally in large red font to make the temporary access point easy to find, should it be needed.

Remember the updates to Gale database names, icons, and interfaces? Gale offered a round of webinars this summer, and you can watch archived recordings. Or, sign up for any of the upcoming Gale webinars to learn about the updates during a live 30-minute session. Look below my email signature block for the list and registration links. All Oregon library and school staff are welcome to sign up for the free offerings. For OASL Fall Conference attendees, another option is to attend a Gale session on October 12.

For a list of additional free webinars related to school libraries being offered in September, see this WebJunction page. It opens to a list divided by topic; scroll to find specific information and the registration link for each webinar.

Thanks,
Jen
